3 Ingredient Green Bean Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Green Beans
  • 1/4 cup Pine Nuts
  • 1/2 cup Red Onion
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp White Balsamic Vinegar

Instructions

  • Clean and chop the ends off the green beans.
  • Steam on the stovetop for about 10 minutes - you don't want them getting mushy.
  • Take off stovetop and run under cold water.
  • Drain and put green beans in a bowl and put in refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
  • Slice the red onion into long, thin slices.
  • Place pine nuts in a fry pan and brown on low heat.
  • Add red onion and pine nuts to the green beans.
  • Add olive oil and white balsamic vinegar.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix and keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
