Healthy Taco Meat
Right now I am focusing on consuming more protein because I am really focusing on balancing my hormones and keeping my blood sugar stable through out the day. This taco meat is one of my favorite proteins to have on hand. Obviously you can make traditional tacos with this, which I typically do the first day but I’ve also found that its weirdly versatile. I add this to salads, bowls, wraps or even some nachos.

Ingredients
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 White Onion
- 1 Jalapeno, Seeded
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 7 oz Tomato Sauce
Instructions
- Dice up white onion and jalapenos into small pieces
- Add olive oil to a skillet and heat up on stovetop
- Add in onion and jalapeños
- Mince garlic and add to skillet
- Saute for around 7 minutes until steaming
- Add in ground beef and cook until browned
- Add in chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and tomato sauce
- Stir and let simmer for about 10 minutes
